Respected journalist Katina Dunn is a formerly syndicated columnist whose work has been wired by Knight Ridder to a number of cross-market publications. As the former Style Editor of the Orange County Register, Katina Dunn held a firm managing role over one of the most widely read newspapers in Southern California.

Katina Dunn honed her writing and journalistic skills as a freelance writer, a career she has maintained since 1978. Ms. Dunn’s work has been published in the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Reader, Chicago Magazine, Newsweek Magazine, and the New York Times. Aside from writing, Ms. Katina Dunn has proven herself capable of managing several of the many other tasks associated with publishing and journalism. Katina Dunn has served as a Reporter/Assistant Editor with the Daily Southtown Economist, a Reporter with the City News Bureau, and Art Director of TRIAD magazine.

Katina Dunn is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech. While on the road to attaining her degree, Katina Dunn has also attended seminars at the Art Institute of Chicago and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.

For three years, Katina Dunn served as the Style Editor for the widely read OC Register. As the Orange County Register’s Style Editor, Katina Dunn was responsible for ensuring the periodical’s layout and content were as fluid and accessible as possible.

Katina Dunn has delivered quality freelance work to publications across the nation since 1978. When Ms. Dunn is not writing, however, she is likely found reading in her Sierra Madre, California home.
